Things are looking up!

Hello everyone! Undoubtedly, by now you will have heard the news - the decision to exclude Elizabeth may from the televised leaders' debate has been overturned! It doesn't get better than this! Especially considering that it was a direct result of the thousands of regular Canadians, not necessarily Greens, who were paying attention and took action against this clear injustice. Thanks to every one of you, and congratulations on a very significant victory and one big step in the right direction.

SHAME on them. Canadians have been cheated!

It is 5:30 PM on Monday, and word has just been pronounced (of course not to Elizabeth directly) that she will NOT be allowed to join the televised leaders' debate in October. According to a spokesperson from the media consortium who was interviewed on CTV news, "3 out of 4" other party leaders refused to participate if she were to be included, "despite the urging of the consortium". Knowing as we do that the Liberals have always supported our inclusion, it isn't difficult to deduce, therefore, who those 3 might be.

Elections imminent!

Dear NDG-Lachine Green Party members!

we can be quite certain they are TRUE, since the origin is the Prime Minister himself.

Therefore, I, your local candidate, am preparing myself for another undoubtedly draining, yet gratifying experience as I get out there and meet voters, listen to their concerns, try to pass on the Green message and hope to surpass our previous achievements.

Wow - I am so excited that our site is finally coming together, thanks to a true NDG hero: Gord Fisch, and his internet services company, EcoHosting (www.ecohosting.net). Check them out if you're like me, and you're always looking for the greenest option for everything! Keep an eye on the site as it will be growing over the next few months. Certainly it will be a key tool of communication during the campaign (whenever that may be - your guess is as good as ours!).
